http://www.state.nj.us/dep/fgw/njregs.htm#hunting <which is the New Jersy Fish and Game. I would say no since theres no hunting or trapping regulations. Best bet is to call them and ask them yourself. I say you can drive 120 mph on the highways there. But I aint responsible for the ticket you gonna get...lol
You can possess a legally tagged bobcat but you cannot offer to sell or sell any Bobcats from within the state (NJ).That would fall under title #23 of the code.
I sent an email to the NJ F&G asking about bobcats. The reply was to call their law enforcement office, which I did. Barring endangered species, as long as you have the originating state/province/country's paper work, tags, seals, etc, you are OK. Although you can legally possess the animal (frozen, skinned, tanned - assumed you are talking about taxidermy) with the proper permits, you still can not offer that animal for sale once it is mounted. This pretty much pertains to all animals obtained for taxidermy work in NJ.
NO YOU CANT
THE BOBCAT IS ON THE ENDANGERED SPECIES LIST
IN THE STATE OF NJ. THEREFORE IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO BE IN
POSSETION OF ONE
IT IS NOT THE MOST ENFORCED RULE BUT IF THE CONSERVATION OFFICER WANTS TO YOU CAN RECIEVE A FINE
ALSO 90% OF THE CONSERVATION OFFICERS DO NOT KNOW THE LAWS
IF YOU ASK 3 DIFFERENT CO,S YOU PROBABLY WILL GET 3 DIFFERENT ANSWERS
