relaxing parts of freeze dried specimens

Greetings!

I've searched the forums but can't seem to find a good answer.

My specimen was freeze dried by another person. The ears need to be straightened since the tips are bent and the eyelids could be better closed.

Can this be done without another freeze dry session? And how?

Thank you.

You can soak a cotton ball in rubbing alcohol and place it on the part that needs to be softened up. After it softens up pose it the way you want and let it dry. I done this on turkey snoods that were freeze dried on the wrong side.
