need a fix from snare damage coyote

Mounted a howling coyote...from a wet tan.
Now dry, a noticable spot from being "snare cought" under the chin high on the shoulder/neck, has a spot of hair damage from the snare lock, or such.
The long hairs are broken off. How to make a quality fix?

If the mount is dry now

depending on the adhesive you used, the only way to fix now would be to rehydrate the area and try to cut out or pull together more. This kind of repair would have been easier to fix before mounting the animal. If you used a water based adhesive, you can rehydrate it. If it was epoxy, you'll probably have to live with it.
