I'm ordered actual ears for my first coyote shoulder mount. All the inner ear detail is moulded into the ear. How do you get the inside skin to match up to all nooks and crannies of the molded ear liners?
They look impressive but I'm not that experienced yet. Any recommendations. THANKS.

butt of ear and if needed blend with apoxie.
Turn the ear, removing all of the cartilage including the full base (butt) of the ear. Then put the liner in with a good 2-part epoxy glue to prevent drumming. Once the ear is in the correct position on the mount, mould your ear butts from clay or epoxy putty through the skin. Once the ear has dried, during the finishing you can go over the cut edge of the ear base (it will be visible in the canal) with epoxy or mache. Paint to suit, let dry, then rub paint out of the fur. It's easy!
