I don't know much about taxidermy so maybe you guys can answer some questions for me. We have a post-doc leaving our behavioral lab and I figured that getting a mouse fixed in some kind of funny position, such as standing on its hind legs with its mouth open, would make an appropriate going away gift.
1) can this be done/contracted out for about 50$+S&H? none of the local shops will do it for less than 100.
2)is there anyone willing to do it in this community?
I wouldn't be posting this if I had no other option, feel free to contact me directly if you want this job.

although I don't personally have any experience with them i would think that you could get one freeze dried for around that price, problem is the timetable, dont know how soon you would need it, good luck, Derek
