I have a customer that brought in a lifesize fallow deer skin. He decided to only do a head mount. I talked him into using the back half of the skin to make a foot stool. I plan to use the feet and legs for the legs of the stool. Any suggestions on what would be the best to use for the leg form and how to attach this to stool?
I am thinking about a 3/4" dowel with mache or clay added where needed. I would drill a hole slightly larger than than the top of the leg and epoxy it in and add a couple of screws so it does not rotate.
Has anyone done this before and any tips? Thanks
