I am getting into taxidermy slowly but surely and was wondering what type of form you use for a bear rug. And how you measure to get the right form. Thanks you very much. Josh David

Josh,
Go to the suppliers pages of this web site. Almost any of the
catalogs will have rugshells and info on proper measuring. Do yourself
a favor and order a bunch of catalogs. That way you can compare forms
and prices. There are a bunch of options such as open mouth, closed
mouth, installed jawsets, half shells, it goes on.
take care,
Bill G.

We have a full time shop and use Buckeye mannikins for most of our rug shells. You can get them with the jaws already installed, and are easy to work with too.The quality and detail in these mannikins are great.Good Luck to you.
