Pete, I've done a few of the fun creatures. On all of them I used a wraped body. I do this just like I was mounting a bird. Wrap each leg on wire and insert it into the skin. Leave about 8 or so inches of wire sticking out into the body. I then carve a head out of foam and wrap the body including the tail. Put the body inside the skin and push each leg wire through the body in its proper place and sinch it tight. Sew up the inscison adding fill where neccessary. When completely sewen up CAREFULLY position on a base. Doing them this way you are only limited by your imagination on the poses you can do. Bob C

Thanks Bob.

Bob,
Thank you for the advice, I will give it a try.
I've never done a wrap-body,i usually use foam manikins.
Since I have 3 porcupines,I will try the wrapped method on
my own mount.
I'll let you know how the mount comes out.
again I Thank You.
