need help with color dyes on stone

we have 6 different style of rock most of the time the dyes do not cover well sometimes that looks nice but when you want to 100% cover with dyes it never seems to work can someone please help

You might try acrylic paints instead. Dilute them at least 100% and use a spray bottle to cover them. Allow the natural beading action of the water/acrylic to color the detail while the higher surfaces stay clear lending themselves to the impression that they, too, are colored, just a different color.

the dye that we shake into the molds are a iron oxide pigment (Powder)then mist with water then the concrete mix is poured the dry then demold do you think paint will still work if these stone are used outside

Paint isn't going to cut it. You Need acid dyes

You can make some cool stuff, small amount into concrete just before pouring, swirl with stick and the rock will have swirled color thru it.It's neat to play with.
Just takes till curing to see if you have what you want, that part sucks.
