While doing some research for making silicone molds, I came across this website;

It's ten pages long and gives some good advice as to how to work with RTV Silicones.

You do not make fiberglass. It is a type of cloth, either woven or in a pressed matte that you soak up with resin to form molds, or to repair boats or what ever. It can also beused to strengthen anything you would make out of resin.
