I was wanting to know if pam cooking spay would work as a mold release for reproduction antlers. or anything else you can think of you can buy cheap. getting ready to mold a set.

Why skimp on the release? Probably the least expensive part in casting! Spend the extra 5 and do a good job with less worries of it working, save the pam for the fried eggs. I like the flavored varities myself.

we recommend armor-all for people who don't want to spend a few extra on the good stuff. pam is bad for the mold rubber.

universal mold release

go onto douglas & sturges (spelling not sure, google it) and get some universal mold release, especially for rubber molds, for plaster Murphy's Oil Soap works like a dream. also just some petrolium jelly is a nice release if you don't mine the stuff
