What would a snake or lizard skin look like / turn out like if it was tanned with preservz-it?

preserve it would CURE the skin, but not tan it. It will not be turned into leather, but be preserved like the glycerin and methanol mehtod. i have used it on small snakes prior to mounting where borax would have not been a good idea due to the thines of the skins, and it did tend to darken the skin a little, alsodo not know the long term effects or pliability of the skins over time.
