I want to perserve some starfish for my grandchildren. How do I go about doing that?

This is how we preserved starfish since I was a kid in the 60's . At least the small 6" - 8" common eastern starfish . The larger ones may not work this way . Lay the starfish on some plastic , feet side down , and pour some table salt over it and leave in the sun for a few days . They will dry hard as a rock . They last forever like this . Rick
