copperheads everywhere!

I run across snakes everyday on this tree nursery. Mostly non-poisonous, which are welcome. But there are lots of copperheads
around which I try to get before the kids or dogs run onto them.
Also scorpions and black widow spiders are rampant...and ticks
and leeches in the pond, rabid animals and wild packs of dogs and
feral cats. Oh, and snapping turtles along the banks of the creek,
about completes the list. Does nature rhyme with danger?
