Box turtle

How do you clean a "fresh kill" turtle. I would like to keep all of the shell intact. It looks like a beautiful box turtle. It went up against a car and lost,only the head was damaged.

How about beetle's. Dermisted Beetles. These are meat eating bugs used to clean bones and skulls. I would think they would work well. There are many skull cleaners around this site. Hit the orange button.

In most states box turtles are protected! Check with your local DNR. P{ossesion even if it was a road kill is illegal. Be safe!
