I am very new to taxidermy and will be trying my hand at mounting some western diamondbacks. I just watched Tom's video on snake mounting (great video by the way). In the video borax was used to preserve the skin and the skin was then mounted, my question is if I cannot get to the actual mounting process after fleshing should I still borax after fleshing or should I put it back in the freezer? Taxidermy is a hobby to me and because of work I may not be able to get to it for a few days?
Thank You
Asher

It's ok to freeze if you can't get to it for a while.
