snapping turtle

I have never tried mounting a snapping turtle beore but I have a customer that wants one done. what is the process and how do figure the cost on doing something you have never attempted before?

Not to discourage you, but if you have never done one before, i would suggest you wholesale it out till you have a few under your belt as practice. They are a mother to skin and flesh, and it is a very tedious job. You also need a good knowledge of their anatomy to know what and what not to cut out of the head as they cannot be skinned out. Like i said, not to discourage you but being a customers turtle, its up to you. I have never done birds before, but when i do take them in, i tell the customer that I send them out to a pro who knows what theyt are doing. Unles i think i have the knowledge and ths skill to pull it off professionaly I usually wont gamble with a customers trophy!
