Snake Skin Storage/Freezing Question

Found a dead gopher snake yesterday. Beautiful skin. Put snake in refrigerator. Have read several posts on snake skins; have decided to get some Rittels tanning stuff instead of using the 50/50 preservation method. Expect this to take several days. In the meantime, what is best to do with the snake? Skin it and then freeze it in a plastic bag? Treat it in some way before freezing? Assume keeping it in the refrigerator untreated is not a good idea.

You can either skin in, flesh it and then salt it till the kit arrives, or skin and flesh and freeze, or simply freeze it whole and then follow the directions on the kit
