i have a gator head that i need to do i have went through all my books but not much is said about tanning the head mainly just the skin..so what is the best way to tan it after you have it cleaned and ready?

After it is all cleaned out very good(upper and lower pallette) soak it for a few days in Rittels Safety acid to pickle it. Then after it is neutralized abd washed real good, DP the head and install eyes ect and let dry before reconstruction of iner mouth detaling
