I pinned a rattler out and the stainless steel pins rusted and left rusty dots on the belly of my snake. How can I get these out without messing up the snake skin? Any suggestions would be appreciated. The skin is already tanned with Rittels reptile tan. It is going to be a flat hide. Thanks

Generally on flat hides,people trim off the pin holes.Maybe that would take enough off to take care of the problem? Not sure if there is any way to remove the rust stain.
Then for next time, buy some stainless steel pins - yours were obviously not stainless steel
