I have a snapping turtle shell that i would like to preserve as a bowl. can anyone help me? I need to know what products i need that are safe.

Get it cleaned by someone that cleans skulls with beatles. My son has done a lot of turtle shells by pouring very hot water in to the shell. Then he let it sit for awhile and repeated it a few times as nessesary. When tissue was cooked and loose, he hit it with the pressure washer. It took everything off. Then bleached the inside of the shell. You could also try a 3000 psi pressure washer or more and a turbo tip. That should take all tissue off also without damage to the shell. If you boil the shell it will cook and loosen the scales on the back of the shell.
