Have a record (44 inch) coral snake skin stretched on a board. Is salt sufficient to preserve the skin? How long should the skin remain on the board? What type oil should be used to mainain softness after cured? Thanx for any info. Bill M

Hi Bill, This must be a WASCO sales day!! You can buy a reptile tanning kit from them. They accually have two tanning kits, one by Trrue-Tan and one by Rittels.Either one I'm sure will work for you.You can get to their on line catalog buy going to www.taxidermy.com Bob C
