I just got a velvet buck and I'm wondering if anyone has used the velvet tan from knoblocks the antler has white hair and I'm worried abought keeping it white.?how do you tell if the antler is to dry to inject.or should I just do as much injecting as I can. Thanks
I have used the velvet tan from Knoblochs with good results and recently have tried Preserve- it from Rittels with excellent results. Good Luck, MarkV.
If the skin is too tight to inject into then just paint a
very good coating on the outside and let soak in, careful
not to miss any spots. Let dry and penetrate then rinse and
groom as normal.
