Question for Bruce Rittel or someone else who knows.

I recently purchased the e-z 100 tanning kit to tan my first deer and It said To use Sodium Bicarbonate or Sodium Acetate.
My question is where do you get the stuff?
I'm new at this.
Please Help.
Thanks,
Brandon

Baking Soda

Brandon,
Baking Soda is Sodium Bicarbonate. It is used to netralize the cape after the pickel, so the skin isn't so acidic. Then put in the tanning solution.
You can get baking soda at the same store you get your food from.
