Submitted by Jim on 12/11/00. ( ) 206.27.36.152

Should a home tanned cape be rinsed right after the tan or after the oiling process or both? What is recomended time for oil penetration? I have read every thing from 3 hrs. to overnight.
Thanks for any replys

Hello Jim,

I'm assuming that you're tanning Lutan-F,
If this is the case, you need to remove the cape from the Lutan-F after it has remained in the tanning for 18-22 hours, rinse in cold water, and let drain for about 30 min. Then, mix your Pro-Plus oil with 1 part oil to 2 parts warm water and aply to the skin side, and allow to soak into the skin for 6-8 hours b-4 mounting.

I hope that this has helped you out.
