If i take a fresh cape and clean, turn ears, and split eyes and nose, then put in the freezer, can i thaw it out clean tumble and go to the dry preserve before mounting. Will it work without me salting it.
If you are using DP, you have no need to ever use salt, period. Especially, you should never salt a hide and attempt to freeze it as you are inviting bacterial growth and hair slipping.
