Tanned a fox last week and I think I went overboard with the tanning oil (soft tan, Lutan-f),I think I was having too much fun. Anyway, the neck and back look fine but the thin areas like the stomach have that oily soft look (degreased with super solvent and grease buster). I have tanned a lot of skins and I don't think this is a major problem but does anybody have any suggestions. My first thought was to tumble in saw dust with super solvent?

If you're referring to our Rittels Super Solvent Degreaser (SS-618), and mixing it in sawdust - yes - that will work! It will clean up the excess oil and also add "puff" to the fur by removing the natural oils! You should get good fur speration that way!
