Can I use Safety Acid to bring down PH level in EZ-100 tanning
solution, or is citric acid, formic acid, and white vineger the only
alternatives?Thank you.

Yes - you can use Saftee Acid to adjust the Ph level of your EZ-100 tanning bath to a 4.0. I usually simply dip out some of my pickling solution and use it to make an adjustment, rather then using more Saftee Acid, but you can use it either way - pure or using a small amount of your previous pickle. Or - use other acids. But - be sure when using other acids, if they are crystals like Oxalic and Citric, that you first disolve them in some water before using them to adjust.

Thanks Bruce.

Thanks for the help Bruce,I wasn't real sure but I went ahead and
used it anyway.I would have used white vineger but I was mixing up
my solution late at night and all of the stores were closed in
this One Horse Town.I had my hides neutralized and could have sworn
I still had some citric acid crystals left. Thanks again, your
information on this forum has been very valuable to the many of us
trying to learn and perfect our own tanning skills.
