Special treatment for ears?

Submitted by Steve A. on 2/23/00. ( )

In my limited tanning experience I have sometimes had trouble
with hair slippage in the ear areas. The capes have usually
turned out beautiful in other respects, but occaisionally there
is some slippage on the inside and outside of the ears. What
is the best way to avoid this? I recently watched a video by
Bob Elzner where he salted the hair side of his ears along
with the flesh side. Another person suggests oiling the inner
ears prior to salting.
I know there are many variables that could cause this. I am
using Lutan-F. Thanks. I really appreciate your input.

Ears to HOT!!

Your problem is when turning your ear butts your getting them hot with the heat from your hands causing bacteria to set up. To avoid this you need to either get faster at turning or have a pan of cold water near to soak your hands in when they get hot. Just a little FYI. Always remember you will want your vat below a 3.
Need any other info email. I will be glad to help.
