Will a auto tanner tan a unskined beaver tail or should it be skined out I've done beaver tails by totally skinning them inside out but what a pain hopefully the tanner will save me this step?

You should go ahead and skin it out all the way, Otherwise you will not know if it is tanned. I would also tell you that it may not penetrate well enough to tan. You may want to call Steve about this one. Mark
