Yep, my kid is selling down town with just a few real lemons added. Inflation, fuel prices, etc. have push the nickel glass to seventy five cents.

As for pickling a hide with it, I would use FORMIC ACID or the ACID CRYSTALS. Crystals are cool they are really safe till added to water.

Once neutralized any acid can be flushed down the city sewer systems, as the mix is retruned to its basic salts and pH, neutralize to a pH of 7.0 or close.

Yes there is sniifers that can trace unneitralized stuff right to your drain!!!

I would use the citric acid for 2 baths, usually the bath
will get dirty, when you use bath for the 2nd time then you
will want to add some acid to keep the Ph down and add some
Bacteria cide. You can use the Basacryl NBKU at 1/8oz per
gallon. When you make a batch, you need to make enough to
make a complete float. Make sure that the skins have plenty
of space or room. So number of skins depends on how much
volume. Monitor your Ph and keep it around 2.0 .
