Just ordered your saftee acid for the first time. I was wondering how many deer capes can I expect to get pickled with 1qt. bottle? All the postings about the freezing problem has me a little concerned!
Please tell me what I need to look for when the bottles come in!

Check the question "Bruce Rittel Saftee Acid" 12/27/00. It should give you info on the freezing aspect of Saftee Acid.
As for its capacity - 1 Quart (32 fl. ozs.) will make 64 Gallons of Pickle. That's usually enough for at least 12-13 full Deerskins! If they weigh on an average - 9-10 Lbs. each. It goes a long way.
