E-Z 100 and Autotanner

Submitted by Randall on 1/2/01. ( )

I use the E-Z 100 in an autotanner.
After first soaking cape in Preservit, can you freeze it until you have four
or five capes ready to run in tanner?
Also, how long can a cape safely be
soaked in Preservit? Thanks. Randall

Preservit? why?

Why would you change what works?

Follow the direction for EZ-100 to the T.

You will not have any problems, but by mixing things you can creat chemical reactions that raise the pH and sometimes release posion gases, many which can cause considerable liver damage with low VOC rates.

Please dont mix the different chemicals.

autotanner instructions

The instructions that I received from
Bruce Rittel for using E-Z 100 in the
autotanner stated to soak the cape for
two hours in Preservz-it, to tighten
the hair. My question is: can the cape
be frozen after this soaking, until I
have more capes ready to tan in the
autotaner? Thanks. Randall

I've never tried it!

I have personally never tried freezing "after" the PI-641 bath. Why not freeze it before the bath until you have enough? Then thaw and soak it. Altho I havent done it (soak in the bath - then freeze), logically speaking, it should work! However, I must admit its something I've never tried on my own.
