Lu -Tan F or EZ -100

Submitted by don r on 1/5/01. ( )

I have several hides ( deer and coyote) That I would like to tan. Can anyone give me some ideas which of these two methods will produce the softest and whites leather. I'm new to this so any help will be appreciated. There is also a product called Ensol B on the market advertised as the wonder chemical for taxidermy. Anyone use ? What are the advantage ? Enough questions for now !

Both give great results but I am going to stay with EZ-100. Bruce is a great guy to deal with and this stuff works as does his safety acid. His oil is top notch. I had a deer cape today that I pulled out of the freezer. The meat measurement after I skinned it was 18 1/2, I measured it after the tan it was 18 then after I oiled it and unfroze it today it was 20". Now I thinned her good and oiled it. Man 'o man do I like this kinda stretch! Good Products either way, If I can tan it then anyone can.
