Is it necessary to have salt in the degreasing solution(greasebuster) if tanning a hide that has just been pickled. I've read that a skin will acid swell if salt is left out.
I use a different brand name, but I think I can still help you. I go ahead and degrease, and then add salt IF it swells, thats all. Good luck to you with that.
