M ade a big mistake. Rehydrated a coyote cape and forgot that I was going to be leaving on vacation. Should I redry the cape or should I place the cape in the pickle and leave it ther until I return. Cape will be ready to pickle tommorrow and I am leaving Wednesday until next Sunday. Thanks in advance.
I would mix up the pickle and put in the hide. You will have a few days to make sure the PH stabilizes before you leave. I have left deer capes in saftee acid for over 6 months with no problem.
