I am new to taxidermy and I will be pickling a deer cape soon. After the cape has been in the pickle, is the pickling solution neutralized with the cape in it? Or is the cape not neutralized?
Always do this by its self. You have better control over it.
To throw your pickle away neutralize to pH of 7-7.5 this returns the acids to there basic elements making it safe for SEWER DISPOSAL. NOT septic tank. Hope this helps John C
