after picling do you rinse the hide before shaving ..... I was wondering if this should be done to avoid all the acid running around in your table and jumping all over, however after shaving I am gonna put the hide in the pickle for a couple more days, should i still rinse it or leave it alone

Remove the cape from the pickle and drain it for 30 minutes. Then do your shaving. No rinsing. After shaving is also a good time to degrease (if you were doing a Bear) and to wash the cape. After washing however, then yes, rinse it well and return it to the pickle.
