I am running a pickle bath for fox and coyote and am using saf-t acid and need to know how much soda to use and how long it needs to be in the neutralization bath. I'm Tanning with E-Z 100 and also need to know how long to leave in the tan. Thanks for any help.----Dean

After you are done pickling nad ready to neutralize - mix 1 oz. of Baking soda to every 1 gallon of water needed. Leave the skins in it for 20-30 minutes. Then rinse and place into the tanning solution. I recommend leaving them there 16-20 hours. Just dont over-tan them by leaving them there longer than 24 hours. Otherwise - yes, they'll be tanned but they will have very little stretch.

If you need more detailed instructions on using EZ-100 - e-mail me your US Mailing address and I'll send you our EZ-2000 Tanning Kit instructions along with our Rittels catalog.
