You have a choice. Some prefer using a Salt Brine (2 Lbs. of Salt to each 1 gallon of Water) while others prefer using a commercial relaxing product like our Rittels Ultra-Soft (US-609) - No salt. Both do a good job. If you decide to use the Salt brine - you can safely leave the skins in for up to 48 hours, but usually they relax within 12-16 hours. If you use the US-609, allow them to soak for 12-16 hours. I usually just soak them overnight and they are ready. Use lukewarm to cool water for either method.
