I have several tanned hydes I need to rehydrate, how long can I keep one in the freezer after soaking it up? Thank You
Ben - damp-dry the cape after it's rehydrated, fold it (dont roll it) and then slip it in a plastic bag, label and freeze it. Use a towel or sawdust to damp-dry the outside of the skin, but leave it pumped inside with liquids. They should keep several months like this - but be sure to seal off the bag with a twistee to keep some moisture around it!
