I am not a taxidermist and I am trying to find out about tanning a bison hide for a rug. can anyone tell me where to send it and what price?
My best advise is to contact your local taxidermist. That is his job.
He will be able to get you the pricing and information that you need.
Personally as a taxidermist I will not patronize any tannery that takes in work from the private sector. What state are you from ? There are quality taxidermists in every state.
