Is it necessary to use liqua soft for a mount done with liqua tan?

It really isn't need to use this for gamehead mounts. You can if you want to get almost no shrinkage in the eye and nose area. What I mean is after you mount it you can rub some of this into the eye and nose. It really slows down the process and the shrinkage is almost nill.
What liqua-soft is really designed for is rug making. This is an oil that will help in keeping the hide soft and more pliable for rugs. Hope this helps.
