Does anyone know of a replacement for Kemal-4? I am using Liqua-Tan and one of the steps involves the Kemal-4 which I do not have with me. Is there a household alternative?
pH and chemical reactions may ruin the tanning. Best to use the recommended product.
Well i agree with john use what they recomend or a product like it like WASCO's skin prep that's what i use and it's cheaper. But if you want to take a chance use a 1/2 ounce dawn detergant and a 1/2 ounce lysol for a bacteriacide per gallon of water soak for 1/2 hour or so depending on how greasy the animal is. Soak longer if animal is greasy like fox.coon,etc.good-luck
