pickle methods?

I usually use saftee acid by Rittels, but I have ran out. I know I do not have enough time to order some more before my skins get to the pickle and was thinking of using either vinager or alum. How do these methods compare to each other and to the saftee acid.

Yes vinegar will work, or even sulfuric acid, see local drug store.

If you use the alum they come out stiff and have to strechted many times.
