I was just wondering if you thought it would be alright to use your EZ-100 tan on a deer cape that has already been completely fleshed and shaved down somewhat but has had DP applied to it.Would it be alright if I washed it real good in cold water to remove DP?What do you think? Thanks for all your help in the past also.

You will have to "kill" the DP!

To do this, you will have to get rid of any of the effects from the DP - or "kill" it. Probably the best way is to simply pickle it - but - it will also require that you check the Ph often, and compensate for any increases in the Ph by adding more acid. Wait until the Ph remains the same for 2 days, then you will have killed any effects. Once the Ph stabilizes, you can process it like you would if you were using strictly EZ-100.
