stop slip

Has anyone ever used Knoblochs Stop Slip? When do you apply this to the hide. Before mounting? How long after applying before the hide can be handled?

You can use the stop slip before or after, If I have to use it I use it
after the skin has been mounted. Just apply to areas that are affected.
If you want to use it prior to you can but just apply to areas that
have trouble.

Thanks for your response Mark. I have a pope and young bear head that I am trying to save. Already lost the rest of the hide to slippage.
