can safetee acid be used in conjunction with bascal s as right now i use formic acid and bascal s. If it can be used what is the mix ratio per gallon of water. The next thing is the disposal claims that it can be dumped as a fertalizer is that straight or after it is neutralised. what kind of fertalizer is it with all the salt in the mixture. thanks to those who respond with the pro's / con's.
Definately try this combination - Bascal S and Saftee Acid! Your question caught me off-guard, because I was doing some testing of it myself, and the final results werent available. As for your question about the Saftee Acid turning into fertilizer - it does, after 2 weeks, but remember - Salt doesnt! So treat it like you would if disposing of a salt solution.
To get some "inside" info on the test I used, as well as the formulation, go to the website: http://www.taxidermyweb.com
I was very impressed with the results, and in particular, the fact that the Bascal S seemed to contribute to a further relaxing of the skin while it was being pickled. It certainly was easy to shave! It was a nice plump skin!
