I know that it is a common practice to wash a cape after using liqua tan and letting it soak in,but if you don't let it dry out first won't you wash out some of the tan?I tan,let soak over night, freeze to mount later.I am afraid to wash because of this.Should i be concerned? thank you
After applying liqua tan and letting skins sit over night, i always wash them using dish washing soap and rinsing well.I've never had any problem doing this. My problem is that i always get the liqua tan on the fur.
In your method this should be fine, if you freeze the skin after it soaks
it will finish bonding, and when you take it out of the freezer let it thaw
and wash.
