I plan on mixing my pickling solution for my bear hide today. I also have 2 Lynx that have been air-dried but never salted. They are very clean. My question is, should I toss them in the pickling solution with my bear hide, or can they go right to the tanning step since they are cleaned up well? I am also wondering if the hair will slip since they have not been salted (the Bear has been).

Before you throw them in the pickle you will have to rehydrate them first.
Basic recipe:
one handful of salt to each gallon of water, then I will add 1-2oz of RELAX R to 5 gallons of water. You May also add 1\8oz of BASACRYL NBKY
to each gallon of water
